It took me to the other side
While walking on the path that runs through the wooded hillside I encountered such a curious-looking doorway.
I’ve walked the path many times, but for the life of me, I can’t recall seeing this structure before. It looks like it has been here forever. So old and mysterious looking.
Some unknown force drew me into the opening.
As I climbed the stairs everything started to lose color. Within moments all became black and white.
Reaching the top I realized this is a different world.
Glancing back as I stepped into the gray opaqueness, I saw the door suddenly disappear.
