The Body Bag…

I must be dreaming

After a long and stressful day James quickly drifts off into a fitful sleep while watching TV.

In his sleep he thinks, “Why so much tugging and pulling, tossing and turning. A sudden twitch of pain. Distant voices I don’t recognize. Feels like a struggle.”

Then the sleep becomes so deep. Almost too deep.

All suddenly becomes peaceful. Almost too peaceful.

James, in his coma like sleep, thinks he must be dreaming.

On the TV in the background: “Police have recovered a body wrapped in a plastic bag they have identified as a local man by the name of James.”
