There Is No Tomorrow(*)

In death, every day is yesterday…

I woke up today and went about my business, only to realize it is yesterday.

Somewhat started by that realization, I thought it must still be today, and I am just dreaming in my sleep. Tomorrow has yet to arrive.

Such as it was, I continued with what had to be done for the day.

After a while, it became apparent I was not dreaming. This is still yesterday, and tomorrow had yet to come.

Somewhat confounded, I let today end, hopeful tomorrow would soon be here.

However, when the day ended, it was still yesterday.

There is no tomorrow.
